The big crucial news was what everyone was talking about: Where was Amber? One night, an audible scream was heard from down the street. Everyone knew who it was, it as Amber. The azure color quickly faded away, as the sky turned to dark grey. A copious  amount of people came running out of their houses. They say here for a split second and then, she disappeared. The police, that arrived shortly, were fastidious of every witness. However, they still could not find Amber. Days turned into weeks, and the question was still lingering,  but how could she just disappear?

A simple lego character strolled through the intermiable park. Who can blame him, he’s small. as he was walking, giant affable ladybugs come rushing toward him. Without knowing what they were, he dropped his camera and ran for his life. Not knowing where he was, he became despondant and started to become worried. He kept running and never looked back. However, he forgot what he was running from and stopped in his tracks. Out of nowhere, the ladybugs came rushing toward him again. But instead of attacking him like he thought they would, they flew him home, saving the day.

     On May 4, 2017, the very first Fashion Show was held at Beta Academy. This was a time where the scholars showed their creativity on stage. The scholars of middle school had to come up with a design concept and had to present it to the other scholars, teachers, and parents that came to witness the spectacular event. After the art hours, the first ever 2017 Fashion Show finally began.

Family and friends gathered around to witness the great event. Not only was the Fashion Show to show creativity, but, to showcase our writing abilities to describe in great detail. Everyone was nervous as they anxiously awaited their turn to present.” It was a fun experience”, said one of the scholars, Victoria Garza, who was a participant in the show. Even though the nerves were in the air, everyone had an amazing time hanging out with friends and family, enjoying the Beta Fashion Show.

We all have that one song that makes us think that the song was made just for us. Well, I have a song that was made just for me. Its “My Girl” from the Temptations. Even though its an oldies song, it still relates to me.

     One line from the song is, “I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day”. This line represents me because every time I wake up in the morning, my baby hairs stick out on my head. My mom always told me that it looked like sun rays on my head. Even “on a cloudy day”, every time I wakeup, my baby hairs still stand up. That’s why this song represents me.

Another line from the song is “I’ve got so much honey, the bees envy me”. This line represents me because I really love honey. Every time, especially when mom makes biscuits, I always use honey. I even have a whole entire bottle of honey for myself. That is another reason why this song was just for me.

Finally, the last song line is,” My girl, My girl, My girl, Talking ’bout my girl”. This line relates to me because my grandparents spoil me a lot. I know that’s a bad thing, but, who can blame them if they love me so much. That’s why this song was for me.

So, when “My Girl” comes on the radio, I will know that that song was made just for me. Even though the Temptations never knew it, they had to know that that song was made for someone: me.

It was day 110 in jail, and frankly, they had had enough of it. Bob and his three friends were planning on escaping when everyone was sound asleep.”Tonights the night boys”, Bob said with glee. He and his friends had secretly been hiding shovels under their beds. As they pulled their shovels out from under their beds,

they quietly crawled through the air vents. They crawled through the air vents and out into the yard. There, they dug and dug, leaving no trace of them behind. Finally, they had made it out of the jail, excited that they were finally free.

”Where should we go first?”, said the mother. This family has always had a hard time deciding. ”Lets go to the Statue of Liberty!”, the daughter retorted. She was very blatant about it; the other families heard her scream the choice. ”No.” “We already been there last time we visited”, replied the dad. They spent the whole day trying to figure out what they were going to do. They were making up ideas such as the lake, a restaurant,and the Statue of Liberty. The mom was flustered because they had to go home. ”Mabey next time we will be prepared”

Today was another special tradition: tiger day. Like all of my other weird community traditions, this one is where two people from each family get nominated to sleep with the tigers. I was nominated yet once again, my dad as well. We entered the cage and heard a big slam. The cage door was stuck. We saw one tiger come out and was getting closer to our cage. The cage door wouldn’t open and the tiger was blocking our escape from the other side of the cage. We were worried until we heard the cage door open. Now we’re free!

I was very  energetic when my family said we were taking yet another trip. This year it was my turn to choose, so I chose the thing that  corresponded to what my brothers decided  last year: to camp in the white tree woods . I knew my decision would antagonize our mother so I  hurried and told my dad instead . As soon as we entered the woods, the battery of my phone died so, I had to eat my sandwich to keep me busy. As we got out of the car, I noticed that my energetic mother was on the floor covered in blood, so was my dad. I didn’t know what to do but to go crying to my brother. But something was wrong; he was also dead. Lucky for me, the killer spared my life. Why? Why didn’t he take me too? 

As I was walking down the streets of London, I had a feeling that something was following me. I figured it was the busy streets but it wasn’t. Something was following me I could feel it. As I went into the café to use the restroom, I couldn’t open the door. I was screaming for help but no one could here me. That same feeling I had was back! As I looked in the mirror, I saw the shadow. As it looked at me, I could feel myself slowly dying until someone finally opened the door. I was free!
